Use applicator to apply a small amount of oil throughout your scalp and gently massage with your fingertips. Work from roots to ends. Add more oil to strands/ends if needed to lock in moisture. Can be used as a leave in oil or washed out. Use 3-4 days a week or as needed.
While using hair oils as a leave-in, it is important to maintain a weekly hair wash routine.
For hot oil treatments, warm oil by placing bottle in a mug of reasonably hot water. Let sit or a few minutes then carefully test oil to ensure it is warm to apply to the scalp. Section hair and apply warm oil throughout hair and scalp. Massage scalp gently for 5 minutes. Place hair in a plastic or aluminum foil cap for 20-30 minutes. After treatment, thoroughly wash oil from hair using shampoo.
Hot oil treatments can be done every 1-2 weeks depending on how dry and damaged your hair is.
