Use the applicator to apply a small amount of oil throughout your scalp and gently massage it with your fingertips. Work from roots to ends. Add more oil to strands/ends if needed to lock in moisture. It can be used as a leave-in oil or washed out. Use 3-4 days a week or as needed.
For hot oil treatments, warm oil by placing the bottle in a mug of reasonably hot water. Let sit for a few minutes then carefully test oil to ensure it is warm to apply to the scalp. Section hair and apply warm oil throughout hair and scalp. Massage scalp gently for 5 minutes. Place hair in a plastic or aluminum foil cap for 20-30 minutes. After treatment, thoroughly wash oil from hair using shampoo.
Hot oil treatments can be done every 1-2 weeks depending on how dry and damaged your hair is.
